I may have just come across your question that is somewhat similar to the one I've just submitted! My question was that I felt that there should be a "Humanism" category since there is a branch of humanism that doesn't see the need to credit any gods with the creation of the universe or blame them for anything that we might think is wrong. I hope I didn't undermine your cause but I hope I have added something to it by asking a similar question phrased somewhat differently.Thanks.

In my opinion that is why it's religion AND philosophy. Philosophy doesn't denote religion but rather ideas. This seems to be what your comment eludes to.

Now if your statement was a more frontal wall against religion then i'd say go ahead and propose an Against Organized Religion category.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
