I can feel my faith slipping away?

If you are not sure, just let me know and I will give you more details about salvation and how you can have assurance! If you are truly saved: it sounds like you recognize the sins in your life and the Holy Spirit that dwells within you is convicting you of those sins. It can be very hard to overcome some sins, but never impossible through the power of God.

God knows your heart even better than you do; do you truly want to give up those sins that you mentioned? Giving them up will cause a loss for you, it maybe you won't fit in with your friends, that you won't be able to tell a lie to cover yourself, it maybe that you won't get your way with your parents, etc. Are you inwardly clinging to your sins? If you want forgiveness from God and His help in overcoming these sins, you must repent.

Repenting is not being sorry for what you've done and that its causing you to be sad or feel empty; repenting is doing a 180, and turning away from those things and to God. Sometimes God hides His face from us, He is still there, but we do not feel His presence. He is doing a good work in you!

Keep seeking Him, keep praying (but mean what you pray), seek His strength (don't try to change in your own power), get in His Word (that is how He will speak to you), surround yourself with mature Christians (not necessarily in physical age but in spiritual maturity). Don't be afraid to tell God you can't feel His presence, that you are struggling with sin, and that you desire so much to draw near to Him. Hope that helps!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
