If it was only 1 partner that is a carrier, I wouldn't worry about it....as the child would not be affected and at worst would just be a carrier. You need the recessive gene from both partners. If we were both carriers, I would look into technology that allows the selection of healthy embryos to be implanted.....I would also look into using a sperm donor with similar traits to my husband...maybe even his brother or cousin.
Its cheap to do an in home artificial insemination...just have to have the donor screened for genetic and other diseases and buy a turkey baster..
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
