The Philadelphia Zoo has over 1300 animals...too many to list here :-) But if interested to learn full detail on the zoo's inhabitants, the "Meet our Animals" pages at philadelphiazoo.org are a great resource. I was especially impressed to learn that the zoo is widely respected for it's excellent care of many rare animals and endangered species. RE: my opinion on their Adopt An Animal program ... I think it's a wonderful idea, and given how impressed I am after seeing photos of the beautiful zoo and it's specialized habitats, I would not hesitate to donate towards support of the facility.
The rates aren't as high as I imagined they might be...$65 to adopt a tiger seems like a pretty good deal :-) Given that a cute stuffed animal version of the resident you sponsor is part of the adoption kits, I think this could be a great gift for a small child...would be fun to take out an adoption in the child's name, and give them the kit for their birthday, Christmas, or whatever. Would love to visit this zoo someday!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
