You sound like you really like this guy, but you didn't try to call him when he first gave you the number, and I think that says something... Now that you've decided to call him there's something wrong with the number and it might be that he just change his mobile phone or something, anyway, you won't know until you talk to him about it. Just keep the conversation light-hearted because he may have given you a wrong number if he wasn't interested. In any case, don't let him give you his number again, give him yours and let him contact you if he's interested.

At least then you'll know, and you won't be bugged forever wondering what if.

I hate to say this, but maybe he did it on purpose because he was being cowardly and thought he was being "nice". I know many girls who do this because they enjoy the attention but when the guy makes his move they wuss out and give a fake number.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
