I have a friend who is a retail theft consultant and answers such questions privately for no fee in most cases. He says expunging a record takes place YEARS after a conviction so you don't want this. What you seek is Diversion or whatever your county calls it.
Talk to your Lawyer about this option to protect your record He adds it was unwise to name store or admit to crimes on public forum.
First, call it what it is. You were not shoplifting. You were STEALING.
You are a worthless, filthy, disgusting little THIEF! You're 24, and you stole $300 worth of stuff. Not a chance in hell of this getting expunged.
And every background check will see it, and you'll quickly find that a lot of jobs don't want to hire nasty little thieves.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
