Wow! I guess the brown didn't take. Why don't you try a L'Oreal home coloring kit.
Pick the color brown you want, let it stay in for the maximum time: 30 minutes, and then rinse it out and see if it holds. It'll cost you less than $10 to try.
And like won't turn any other colour. Thanks for the advice :D Emma_ 13 months ago .
Well, if the salon couldn't guarantee their work, I can't guarantee the L'Oreal either. But my wife uses it to cover her gray (I apply it for her), and I think if you leave it on for the maximum time, it may bond to your "ginger" hair like it does to the gray hair on her. And her hair really looks nice - soft and smooth.
She's tried other brands and this one seems to be the best for her. Oh, and by the way, just ignore Turbo. I don't think you should have to live with "ginger" hair!
You need to stop. Right now. Do not do anything else to your hair.
This is the salons fault. Call and speak with the manager and tell them they need to fix this. Your hair is really stressed right now, with all of the dye.
If you decide to dye it again, expect a lot of breakage and damage. Therfore, this needs to be professional done. DZ is wrong in his advice .
Being a male, he knows nothing about getting hair dyed. Do NOT, I repeat, NOT try to do any at home treatments. They are really cheap, and full of strong chemicals, and if you use one, expect at the very least, a really strange color, and at worst - your hair breaking off and falling out.
If it was me, I would try to live with the gingery color for at least a month. Then go back to the salon - (having set this up with the salon manager now) get the ends cut off, and decide where you want to go from there. Do NOT do any home 'remedies".
You will regret it.
Ok thanks , but you see the problem is i've been living with it since may. I've moved salons now. I don't no if I should try dye it brown again?
Im afraid it won't work out , and then I might regret it..? my hair has grew long and I couldnt bear to cut it up! My roots are starting to show and I am so confused I don't no wat to do as I said to the hairdresser why does it not stay brown for long and he said that i'd have to keep dying it brown all the time until it grabs hold. Thanks so much for your advice you seem to help loads of people!

It sounds like they put in semi perment hair color. I would go back to the salon again and show them that it washed out. As long as you have not put any haircolor in your hair since they did that then a they should have to fix it, since it was their mistake to begin with.
But it might not be the exact color you had to begin with, that would be very hard to get back right away.
I would not put anything else on it. I would go to a professional if you can't get them to fix their mistake. You don't want to dry your hair out by putting to much different color on it.
They might have to use a toner to take out the color, then start from the beginning with the color you want. Good luck, hope everything works out.
Your hair is extremely porous right now and any color you put in will wash right out. When you do decide to do it again, you should have the stylist use a color filler before applying the final color. This will give the brown something to hold on to.
Thanks! Sounds good. I will ask for this , thank you Emma_ 13 months ago .
If the salon didn't do a consolation than they are at fault. You shouldnt have left the salon with the gingerish hair. If they didn't tell you it would happen than they shouldnt have let you go.
Its the hairdresser fault.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
