I have 2 cats. One needs to be on a diet. Sisters, always have eaten together.

One needs diet food-other doesn't. Help These two cats are sisters and have grown up together. They want to eat together.

The overweight cat must be on a diet per vet's instruction. These two do not want to eat without the other. Is there a simple solution to this problem.

They do not want to eat if separated. Help me with an answer or suggestions. Thank you.

No way to separate them! I don't think you will have much luck trying to feed them two different types of food. Even if you give them two separate bowls, they will most likely sample each other's food.

Cats have a tendency to graze, that is, they eat a little bit and go away for awhile. Then come back later and eat some more. You know that if you leave the food bowls down, the dieting cat will be eating the regular food.

I would simply give them both the diet food at mealtime. If your second cat needs extra calories, give him some kitty treats throughout the day on the sly. Good luck!

Cats are creatures of habit and don't like disruption in their normal routine.

Feed them both the special diet We have the same problem in our household, with a diabetic cat that needs a special diet. Since we can't keep him from snarfing food from other bowls, we put all the cats on the same special diet, after the vet said it wouldn't hurt the other cats. So, ask your vet if the diet food would be ok to feed to both..

Feed them together still Let both cats eat the diet food if it is a question of switching brands. If it's a question of portion control, you'll have to separate them. Maybe feed them on either side of a grating so they can see each other?

Like a divider to keep a child or pet from the other room. My cats were raised together and always ate together. When one died, the other one would wait for him to come and eat in the morning, and then would only eat half the food as if saving it (he was already getting half the food!).

A year later, he doesn't wait for the other cat anymore, but he still leaves some food for him. It is kind of sad and kind of sweet..

Feed them both the diet food. It won't hurt the other cat and everyone will be happy and you don't have to worry about the fat cat sneaking the regular food. If that doesn't work you might just have to stand there and watch them eat.

I'm sure the vet said to limit the amount too so they shouldn't take long to eat, 15 minutes or so. Just feed them far enough apart that you can intercede if the cat goes to the wrong bowl.

Poppet! Said: 1 How are you feeding them now--from one bowl? Side by side?

Do they eat dry food that's available all the time, or canned food only at feeding time? .

Please explain. " "It is going to be my sisters birthday and I want to get her a gourmet food basket. Where online should I get it?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
