Well, at first they said to connect black kit wire to blue and white to white. I thought I was to cut the molex wires and I did. They didint have any wires out other than the ones stuck in the molex plug.So I cut those right off ot the base of the molex plug , the parts that yu have to cnnect back together .

. I cut right above the the molex plug and connect the light kit to the wires right above the molex plug.It went ok then I turn on the breaker and I got light but no fan. Plus my fan has 1 white,1 black & 1black&white wire but my instriction said connect black kit wire to blue fan wire, there was none in my fan.

So I connected black kit wire to black and white existing fan wire. What did I do wrong dbrithandia 2 months ago .
