Play with him more. Interact with him. It will help him gain confidence and develop proper behavior.
Have fun!
Sounds like he is truly a scaredy cat...............
He actually is on you so much cuz he is a real scardey cat and wants to be with you... DONT refuse him for long... hes your cat.
They are just like children, and they need physical contact...the great thing about cats is that they are MUCH less needy then dogs...like Flordeliz says, give them attention and they will leave you alone when they have had their fill.
I have 4 male indoor cats. And they are all skittish with strangers. At the slight sound of a spoon dropping, or me crumping a plastic bag or one of them hitting a ball they all scamper for higher grounds or hide somewhere.
Yelling won't work with my "boys" either. They always crowd me when I try to do something or sleeping. No matter how much I ignore them they always win.
Petting is not enough when they want to be held or cuddled. When they are satisfied they will let me be.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
