I have a new Kindle E-reader. When I try to register it asks me to connect to a Wi-Fi network. How do I do this?

You need to setup WiFi connection. Press the Menu button while on your Home screen. Use the 5-way controller to underline “Settings” and press to select.

Select Wi-Fi Setting and your network. You will see the list of available networks. Choose your network and select connect.

If it is asked input the network password (for typing symbols press Symbol key). To join a Wi-Fi network that isn’t shown in the list of networks, select “Enter other Wi-Fi network. ” Then you can manually enter the network information so that Kindle can try to connect to the new Wi-Fi network.

Kindle automatically detects nearby Wi-Fi networks and hotspots that broadcast their network name. When you visit a place that offers Wi-Fi access, such as your school, home, or the Wi-Fi hotspot at your favorite cafe, you can set up a Wi-Fi network. Once setup Kindle will remember WiFi setting and will connect automatically to the Wi-Fi network.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
