Poppet is Right At the least, they are worth one cent each. Most likely, the dates have worn off, so they are not worth more than that. If they are in mint condition and they are a result of a minting error, then they could be sold for much more than that.
Go to a coin dealer and ask an expert's opinion Your coins probably are worth more than face value unless they have been defaced to produce the variance. The overall condition of the coin makes a difference, too. If these coins were mine, I would go to my local coin dealer, listen to his/her opinion, and, if he/she offers to buy your coins, consider that they’re probably worth more than the offer.
Asking an auctioneer who regularly auctions coins is another option, if there’s one nearby. Sources: experience .
It's very very difficult, like impossible, for those kinds of flaws to happen "naturally". You see the dies are inspected very very often, and it's extremely unlikely a single digit will somehow get filled in. Much much less likely that the whole date will get filled in.
But very very easy for someone with a little $19 Dremel tool to grind and polish off the digit or date. Especially in India, where they can invest like an hour doing a careful grinding and polishing job in order to resell the coin for $2. India has a HUGE industry of polishing mediocre gemstones, they're just as likely to be tempted to polish pennies for profit.
Probably not - few pennies are worth anything. en.allexperts.com/q/Coin-Collecting-2297... pennies are not worth a whole lot. Here are the dates to look for: 1909, 1914-D, 1922, 1931-D and anthing piror to 1919 that is in super condition.1943 steel pennies are quite common, however there were a few dozen made from copper and are worth $10,000 and up.
Steel ones stick to a magnet, copper ones don't. Sources: My answer .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
