Now every team is trying to look hip and cool. It’s just the actual mascots on teams today. I still remember the huge grinning bird that was the Baltimore Orioles mascot and I used to really dig it.
Maybe it’s simply because I understand how much more of the game is really all about business, but it just seems like the game used to be more about fun than who was getting paid the most, or how long the contract is for. I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
