Depends on how you crop, and how much you will lose of the picture when you do. If there is a lot of space around the rug you will have a better chance of rotating it.

Thanks Poppet. I have a lot of space around it and cropping does not solve my problem. Is there any program you know of that I can bring the rug to standing or vertical position?

Go to picnik. Com and sign up for an account. You can upload the photo there, and edit it.

Chose Rotate from the buttons on the left. Then save it! .

Photoshop or photoshop elements can skew the rug to a rectangle and then you can position it as you want. I don't know of any on-line editors that will 'skew' a photo. Skew is best taken from the center of one end.

I do that with photographs or paintings where you don't want the flash to show as a white spot. The skew stetches the far or smallest end, or shrinks the closest or near end until the object looks squared. .. ..

Photoshop method is to mark an area around the object then go to Edit, then Transform, then Skew. Move the squares at the corners. I always felt better moving the smaller end to make it bigger, and I always worked with a copy.. ..

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
