I have a red sofa and black leather chaise...what color should I paint my walls and trim?

It depends how the REST of the room is decorated. If you're putting a black sofa in a basically blue room, that can be good, but don't add a bright orange blanket.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
