John,I don't think that your radio will work with the Powermonkey. The powermonkey basically supplies enough power to charge cell phones and small electronic devices. I belive the output is about 5v at 500mah.

Since your device is 12 volts the powermonkey will not be able to supply enough power. Also of note... the power monkey does not supply power directly from the solar slave... instead the solar cell is used to charge the battery pack (the powermonkey) and then you use this battery pack to charge your devices. There are very few options where solar cells can directly power devices (at least in a portable setting).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
