I have an askville operations question. When you get a compliment, you can click on the 'from this answer' part and see the referenced question. But if you send a return message first, then I cannot find a way to get to the referenced question.
Anyone know how to solve this? Thanks for your help. Asked by Thannisan 43 months ago Similar questions: askville operations question compliment click 'from answer' part Amazon > Askville.

Here's what I do This may be a little out of sequence compared to what you're trying to do, but here’s my compliment routine. Before accepting it, I go to the question or comment to which it pertains so I know for sure what the compliment is for. Then I go back to the compliment, click on “More actions” and send a thank you note.
Then I accept the compliment. But even if you do the note and accept the compliment, the link to the applicable question is still available. You can get there three different ways, that I know of: Go back to your MyAskville page.
The newly-accepted compliment will show up. Click on it and the link to the question is there. Click on “See my public profile.”
All your compliments will be listed along with the links to the questions or comments. Mouse over the big green “My Askville” button and then slide down and pick “Compliments. ” Again, all compliments with the links will appear.
I hope this is what you're talking about.... SharonW's Recommendations Don't Make Me Think: A Common Sense Approach to Web Usability, 2nd Edition Amazon List Price: $40.00 Used from: $23.49 Average Customer Rating: 4.5 out of 5 (based on 420 reviews) .
This should help! I can suggest these methods to find that out. The first one is to hit the "See my public profile" and then scroll down to see your compliments and the links."See my public profile" is located under "Edit my profile button" in your "My Askville".
You may also hit "See all xxx compliments" located at the bottom of your "statistics"! For the first one you should scroll down and you can see the list of compliments and their links. For the second one you will see the list of your compliments in a different page and their links.
The other method is to scroll down in your "My Askville" and under the compliments that are listed hit "see all xxx". Xxx shows the number of compliments that you have gotten so far. That way you may access the list of your compliments accompanied with their links.
Another method would be to click on your avatar from anywhere you see your screen name in Askville and then have a look at your profile and find the compliment and the link corresponding to that! I hope this is what you are looking for!.
That way you may access the list of your compliments accompanied with their links.

2 I think she means when you've accepted the compliment you can't then see the question. I had this problem and unless you really remember all the answers you made, its difficult to go through the whole process. Its lovely to get a compliment but sometimes its nice to know why/what you've done to deserve it.

" "Sometimes when I click on Askville" I see a question or two for a moment, then never see them again. Where do they go? " "Have you ever give someone a compliment (not askville) and been embarassed by their response?
(see details)" "Askville, name one thing you love about being a part of askville.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
