There are some great fantasy movies appropriate for kids: "The Neverending Story," "The Princess Bride," "Ladyhawke," "The Bridge to Terrebithia. " There are good fantasy books for teens: "The Neverending Story," "The Phantom Tollbooth," "The Dark Is Rising" series by Susan Cooper, "The Chronicles of Prydain" series by Lloyd Alexander. He might also like, "From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E.

Frankweiler," a story about two kids who run away and stay at the Metropolitan Museum in New York. Madeline L’Engle’s, "A Wrinkle in Time" series is also excellent. If he hasn’t already read them, "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Chronicles of Narnia" are a must for any fantasy fan.

Do you have the opportunity to take him to concerts at an outside venue? That way, he can move around as he pleases and leave when he needs to. Speaking of music; how about a keyboard with a midi attachment he can use with his computer?

There are some really challenging puzzles out there. The two best that I have seen are one that is all black (yikes! ), and one that is a crossword puzzle on the box that you can solve by putting the puzzle together.

Dover Publications also has some incredible 3D puzzles. If he is into "Star Trek" at all, you can buy books with the blueprints of the ships. I hope that gives you enough to work from!

I know you think that he probably reads "too much", but I'll bet he'd be delighted with a gift certificate or gift card that would let him select several books of his choise. I'm looking for some great ideas for birthday presents for my son.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
