I have ceramic tile in the bathroom and want to lay self-adhesive laminate tiles over it. Can I do that?

You can, but isn't advised. Self-adhesive tiles need a comparatively rough surface so adhere to - the more surface area, the better. Ceramic tiles are smooth, not rough, and not the ideal for long tern adhesion. In addition, ceramic tile has grooves in between tiles where the grout lies.

You will never be able to fill those grooves in such a way that the self-adhesive tiles will have a perfectly flat surface to lie on. You will end up with adhesive tiles that are moving around and lifting up.(And if the adhesive tiles get wet, which they will, guess where the water goes....) .

I'm going to take your advice. Thanks. Mjmc mjmc 3 months ago .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
