I have only had rats and mice before. I just got a hamster helpful tips?

If you really want another hamster then I say go for it. You could always get a 20 gallon clear plastic bin from practically any store and make a bin cage for your new hamster. Making bin cages are easy and they're usually really cheap to make.

If you want to make a bin cage go to Google.com and look up "How to make a bin cage". That should give you plenty of results. If you don't want to make a cage then you could always check in your news paper or on craigslist.com in the pet sections and see if there is anyone selling or giving away another cage or tank.

Remember though Syrian hamsters are very territorial so they should not be housed together under any circumstances. If you house two or more adult Syrians together they'll most likely fight and one or more could die. Make sure if you get the male and you plan on breeding that you do tons of research before doing so.

A ten gallon cage seems a bit small for a Syrian but if it gets plenty of exercise then it should be okay. Good luck and best wishes.

I've heared that if you buy the hamsters at the same time they won't fight(that is if they lived in the same cage before you got them especially when put together when very young). But they may fight if you get them at different times. So keep them in different cages/aquarium.

Good luck!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
