I have some audiobooks in my iTunes library that I do not want to be synched to my iPod?

I have some audiobooks in my iTunes library that I do not want to be synched to my iPod. I DO want to keep them on my computer. Where do I move them so they stay stored on the computer but do not get moved to the iPod?

A few ways You can 'delete' them from the itunes library. When you select them and click 'delete' on your keyboard, a pop up will ask you if you want to keep the file in it's current location or move it to the recycle bin. Select keep it in it's current location.It will be removed from the itunes library but not from your computer.

When you want to read them on the ipod, just drag them back into itunes. Another way you can accomplish this is to change your ipod's update setup. You could switch it to manual update, which would solve your problem (I keep mine on manual update).
