Any color you like. I would like chartreuse.
Thanks Gary, The kitchen kind of flows into the great room that will have a kind of rosewood laminate. I need two colors that will go together. Billabong 6 days ago .
It is really your choice. If you like it then it is fine.
Thanks Gary, I know it is my choice. I am just asking for some suggestions. I am sure I'll figure it out.

Good luck. Do not fear doing what you want.
Very light bluish purple. The slight purple tint will play nice with the pearl granite tones, as well as with the rosewood the light blue tint. (and vice versa)The transition from room to room will be eye catching, but not too overstated, which I assume you are trying to avoid.
Thank you, that sounds very nice. I had almost settled on a nice yellow. It goes well with the blue in the granite and also a good contrast with the white, but I do like your suggestion as well.
I do need a complementary color for the great room that is right next to the kitchen/dining area. We have purchased a light green sectional. Keep the ideas coming!

With purple and blue hues, you can never go wrong with light greens! As far as a complementary color, if the rooms are especially open to each other, then try matching the drapes together in each room, but use different colors that play well together as a way to keep the rooms feeling seperate without clashing. I did light greens and lavenders in each room, with forest green curtains, but did a different accent piece in each room that 'pops' with a different color.
Each room has an accent wall, one green one purple, to make them look more seperate, with tanish color on the rest. (I buy alot of reduced price paint, so color names are often a mystery) I would try not to bring the colors in the kitchen out into the rooms.
We have decided on a nice light gray for the kitchen and a tan/brown of some sort for the great room. All trim will be white. I won't be having drapes, so that is a non issue.
Just blinds. The bathrooms are going to be a seafoam green/blue, and the master will be a mauve/purple colour. Not sure on the two spare rooms yet.
I appreciate all your suggestions. I bet your house looks awesome! Billabong 7 hours ago .
The color Pony Tail from Lowe's is a GREAT neutral color for your walls.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
