The cabinets are currently painted white and I have investigated both new cabinets and refacing, but neither is a good option for me. Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me. I would got with an antique white. It will keep the kitchen bright and by using a off-white color it will not be to much white. You can also use some online tools to help visualize how the different colors will blend.

I would go with white I think the dark green granite counters with the white tile floor with White kitchen cabinets would be beautiful. Not perfectly white. Bring home some swatches and match it with some color from your countertop.

Granite would have a light color, almost white specks, Yes? Accent with small Herb garden, as many plants as your kitchen can handle. Updating with newer faucets can make your kichen feel like you have spent thousands!

1 Sparky, thanks for putting the question out. My wife and I have been doing a lot of cabinet refinishing. My suggestion would be to get a couple fan decks from the paint stores and pick a color that is really close to your countertops.

I'd then choose a color that is much lighter than the countertops, but shaded darker than your walls. You'll want some contrast going on. Otherwise, it'll all bleed together, and you don't want kitchen soup...not this kind anyway.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
