You should use a lighter, but not too light tile, preferably with a bit of pattern/texture it. With a mixture of lights and darks in the kitchen, you want to use something kind of in between for the tile. Do not use overly dark, or even white tiling, as these extremes will make your room either too dark, or a never ending "dirt collection".

A fairly light beige tile with a darker texture throughout would be best if ou are absolutely set on white cabinets, black granite counters and a white/blue wall paper. Sources: my opinion.

Tile floor I think a natural brick red color/terracotta would be nice with this, with matching grout! It would set off both the black counter tops and the blue in the walls. It would clean up well, and hide some of the dirt that gets on floors every day under use!
