1 Wow! Very dark strong colors. I think soft yellow walls was a perfect choice.

You could go for a light red to offset the berry couch, or a neutral beige or light brown. I don't think you can go too crazy with color.

2 I thought so too, but am having a hard time with finishing the room, there is also some copper accents, trying to tie it all in but have it warm and it doesn't feel that way now so whas thinking maybe a wall color change. Thanks for your thoughts and if you have any more please pass them along.

3 I think taupe walls would be great, and would complement the the red tones in the cabinets and the berry red sofa. Your black granite countertops are great with a taupe and red scheme. Lots of accessories available now in taupe/red/black.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
