I don't get it. Why not just in a private place, why ON it? And why pollute the water that animals and people might have to drink from?

Why do men pee------ I chalk it up to being lazy and their thing is so handy to get at. They just whip it out. I believe it starts as little boys and they continue into adult hood.
They probably do it in the shower as well. Gross, Gross! I do know men are hard to train and old habits die hard.
Sorry Men.
Ha ha hubby says because the can :) Myself I do not understand it either. In the dog world it has something to do with dominance and being Alpha I am not sure about humans? .
Trees provide some shelter from being completely exposed visually and exposed to the wind (don't want your own pee blowing back on you)...plus trees are a lot like urinals! And guys are used to peeing IN something so I think it just becomes easier to focus on the task if you are peeing like you usually do.. somewhat sheltered and not directly on the ground... as for peeing in the water... again... think toilet and you will probably find the answer... May also be because they don't want other people to step in it or it could be the splash of the urine when it hits the ground can wet their pant leg... that's emberassing...
Thanks! Yours was the best answer yet and made the most sense! TessieJo 16 months ago .
Peeing on or at the roots of plants actually feeds then nitrogen and potassium. I urinate outside very often when I am hiking and fishing. I always urinate at least 20 feet from the streams so that the nutrients (waste) can be filtered through the earth and used by the plants.
FYI: urine is sterile when it leaves the body. Hmmm.. I didn't answer your question at all... oh well. I see someone else had a good proper answer anyway!
1 Just because they can. I think the tree thing is the same thing as why a dog pees on a hydrant . As for a lake, way too much water to ever be affected by someone peeing in it.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
