I've been using Skype for about a year or so now.... and I’ve used my web cam several times. I’ve used it within the States and to " video-talk" with my son who is a soldier in the Army when he was getting surgery in Germany....it is free and it worked GREAT! I also have a friend in Postsovetik (its a small country that used to be part of Russia) and we used our web cams.
