I think there is a stigma attached here that is particularly cruel. It's easy to make fun of high-profile people, but it's difficult to see an image like that attached to someone who has set such a standard of excellence. I'm sure Mrs. Obama is very thick-skinned, but I saw this and felt bad.
Can't quite explain it. Most of those under attack did at least something to deserve the ridicule - I do not believe she did. You never did see the likes of it regarding Laura, did you?
Perhaps because so many felt the same way about her. Some things need to rise above the madding crowd and make a stand for the positive. Everyone and everything is subject to ridicule.
However, if those victimized in no way deserve the ridicule, who's going to look bad out of the deal? I think that's why Google apologized.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
