I need a 600-watt microwave for my daughter's dorm room. Any ideas?

I don't have any ideas, but it would make a good hub for you, or those that do chiefly marketing. Good luck! Nice profile pic,BTW.

Ebay is probably your best bet. Or try Amazon.com, that's where I got my 850watt microwave from for about £50.

You probably won't get much more that hot water or popcorn with a 600 watt. I just recently purchased a new microwave and was told to get at least 1200 watt for my usage. I use to cook items as well as heating.

As far as where to go, yeah Walmart is generally the cheapest, unless you have an ABC Warehouse around, they will work with you on the price. The dropped mine from $117 to $77 and threw in a NEW coffee pot when I bought the fridge too!

Microwave heated food is not good for health. Buy a talking INDUCTION HEATER.

I would check the consumer reports website first. When it comes to appliances I like to read specially about safety features (electrical system).

Walmart has great deals on microwaves and toaster ovens for dorms. I would consider the toaster oven so she can use it to cook more things.

Gher powered ones don't cost that much more or take up much more space. Make sure you get one with a turn-table. You don't really need one with all kinds of "settings" though.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
