If you want to do something with material on your walls or just about any surface, you can use starch. Soak the material with liquid starch, spread the material on your wall like wallpaper. The starch dries clear & when you move out just peel it off.
No residue left from the starch & no damage to your walls. Like I mentioned before this works well on just about any surface, so you could cover anything you wanted. Good luck.
My roommate and I did ours two different ways. The first way was that we used a shower rod between bookshelves and hung colored curtains. The other way was that we used double sided tape (like for scrapbooking) with scrapbooking paper.
I did my side with a pattern and solid colors switching back and forth, and she did stripes of two solid colors. You could also do one color and just buy several sheets of paper. It depends on how much space you are trying to cover.
You could also go to a place like lowes or home depot and buy wall paper but instead of putting it on, use the double sided tape to put it on for the time your in your dorm.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
