Suggustions My wifes mother had the same thing as yours, alzheimers. This is what my wife did. First off she tried to get her mother to sign a general power of attorney.

This would have solved everything. She was not successful so she had to go to plan B. So she had to hire a lawyer and go to court. My wife is an only child so it was easy.

If you are not an only child then everyone has to be agreement before this will work including dad if he is still alive. In court she aquired guardianship over her mother. All expenses are re-embursable from your mothers money if she has any IF you want this option.

If your mother doesn't have any medical insurance she needs to be put on medicade immediately. Once she had the guardianship she could make all decisions for her and she had her put in Quality Care nursing home because she was beyond what we could care for. Also being her guardian does NOT make you financially responsible nor can you be paid for being a guardian.

But any bills that came due for her mother they could not come and try and collect from her daughter for just because she was her guardian. Hope this helps a little..

" "Someone's mother is dying from Alzheimers, she is in her 90s. What's the polite thing to say?" "Can anyone give me the name of a good lawyer in middle TN that will do a case against another lawyer in Nashville area?

Someone's mother is dying from Alzheimers, she is in her 90s. What's the polite thing to say?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
