Hi! You sound like your very passionate towards acting which is good. I'm 15, and also have a passion.
I have done productions and performances and taken acting classes and have auditioned for a few things. I have learnt that casting directors like to see experience on your acting resume. An acting resume is information which you hand to your casting director or agency when you go to audition.
It contains simple things like your name, date of birth, height, weight. And also past theatre productions and experience e.g. Acting classes, drama gcse, drama diploma, drama degrees. They give directors a slight knowledge of what you have appeared in.
And don't worry if you don't have a lot to put on now. They just want to see if your good at acting, and if you love it. So I'd suggest, put yourself out there!
In other words, go to your local theatre, auditon for any shows. I know the fear of failing and not getting a part. Trust me.
I have auditioned for things, and have not gotten in more times than I have gotten in to things. But, experience counts. Auditoning for something even if you haven't got it, means that you have expirence in auditons, and are committed to carrying on even if you fail.
Yes! Putting on resumes that you have auditoned for things but haven't gotten in is showing you have tried. If you really can't find any theatre auditons going round, wait till your older, go to college get a drama degree.
Go to uni, get a diploma. And then if you live in a place where there are no acting opportunities going around, move to a better location. Many actors have done that, including Heath ledger who moved to L.A. To get an agent, I wouldn't recommend looking online for online agencies as most are scams who want your money.
Agencies are free, and only take money from the profit you make out of your work. Look in newspapers, especially 'the stage' newspaper. Go and ask acting teachers, and ask around if there are any agency auditions.
Finding auditons are hard especially if you live in a very isolated place like me. Try your best, and even just acting at home or with your friends is good if you can't find professional acting help. Wait till your older for all the pro stuff if you still interesting in it.
16 and under is pretty young to want to do acting. You can find acting resume templates online, and just print one off and simply fill it in. Remember to bring a head shot to any auditon you go to.
A headshot is a picture of your self above the shoulders. How to start acting is simple. Start small.
Do local theatre plays (if you can, don't worry if you can't find any) work your way up to bigger and better things. Even actors who started in there 30s had to start doing local plays. So, hope this helped!
If you ever choose to do acting as a career, enjoy it! It is supposed to be fun! You'll get there one day.
Good luck :).
Okay - you're WAY ahead of yourself. Rule one - never, ever say that you're amazing. It sounds conceited, arrogant and unrealistic.
Being confident is okay - but you have to have something to be confident about first. School stuff is easy, and just speaking in assembly and having a strong voice means very little. It has nothing to do with acting.
Actors don't start out in movies - nor do they just 'get' auditions or agents. You'd first need several years of training at a good acting school, and a few more years of getting experience on stage in plays. That's what goes on a resume - training, experience and other skills, such as singing grades and dance grades, foreign languages spoken fluently and accents mastered.
But even after all that, when you're 18 or 19, you'll need to get into a good university-level drama school and learn the advanced stuff. There's a lot more to acting than you seem to think. After that, you might be able to get an agent, who might find some auditions for you to apply for.
Agents are never, ever interested in beginners. And then, if you're really good, really lucky and determined, you might win the occasional small role in a play, a TV show, or a minor movie. Be realistic - and drop the attitude.
You'll get a lot further with some humility. Good luck!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
