I got grass to grow in less than a week using Scott's Patchmaster Sun and Shade. It has the seed, fertilizer and mulch combined. I was just filling in a small patch, though.

Hopefully, you roughed up the soil and raked the seed in Don’t laugh...my hubby used to just throw grass seed on hard ground and expect it to grow...it never had a chance with the birds having a feast on it. This time, he roughed up the soil, raked in a little compost...and in about 10 days, the little green shoots started appearing. We hit it just right with the weather, too...right after he planted the seeds, it rained hard the next three afternoons.
For the NW Florida heat, we were told to water every second day...and give each area of lawn a good 1/2 hour soaking. We have a sandy subsoil so the water drains off pretty quickly. Give it a few more days...Im sure you'll start to see the new grass sprouting up Having the sun and air dry it all day will help prevent fungus growth and give the roots a strong start.

Check your package, should say germination time We planted grass seed and it took about three weeks to show up. In 6 weeks it was amazingly full and thick but the first couple of weeks, nothing! .
There are several factors. Where you live, temperature, watering and nutrients in the lawn. YOu first need to find out what type of lawn you have - fescue, ryegrass, kentucky blue grass, mixture, etc. Then you need to find out the rate of seed you should put down to cover the area, it's written on the bag.
Then you need to be srue you keep the soil most, but not wet, and you have to be sure that ti's anti bird friendly, since birds eat, "SEED". Then you have to be sure the ground temperature is not too hot or not too cold. And of course, keep it watered and out of direct sunlight.
The best time to plant seed is either early in the spring when the ground is less then 74' degrees F or in the fall when the ground has less then 70' degrees F. Otherwise there is too much stress on the seedlings. Also use a good starter fertilizer and be sure that you have slightly buried the seed no more then 1/4" of an inch - water often and in short inciments to prevent it from burning up if you are going to do it in the dead of summer (worst time to plant seed or anything for that matter) .
Germination time depends on the seed type. Watering is crucial during summer. Contractor-grade grass seed, like Annual Ryegrass, will normally germinate in seven to ten days.
Kentucky Bluegrass may take as long as a month to germinate. I planted a mixture of Fescue and Bluegrass about a month ago. The fescue was up in about two weeks and the bluegrass emerged about another two weeks later.
New seed must be making contact with penetrable ground. Tilling the area, or at least roughing-up with a rake, is a must. Watering two to three times each day is crucial.
When planting grass seed in the summer, never allow the seed or newly germinated grass to dry-out. Covering a newly planted area with hay is a great way to maintain moisture. Also, let it grow for quite awhile before cutting.
Many say that the age of the seed will impact germination time and rate. The seed I just planted was four years old -- stored in a dry location. I did not notice any difference from newly purchased seed.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
