I read this shocking comment about Muslims, from a reputable hubber which stunned me?

It was not fair but none able to become fair if come from anger or hate. It easy to see how this person becoming so blind and loved it very much. But I did stumble upon way funnier line before.It was said, "Islam had decided want to spread it's religion to the world by having as much babies as possible so everyone, let's do the same!

Let's making babies as much as possible! " Not in exact line but something like this. I told this person, " good luck with that babies project!

The Truth always Prevails”. Whose truth? Speaking as someone who never finished I find that statement both patronising and offensive.

But I’m not holding my breath for an apology. As I said, the world is filled with the self-important, for whom a backward step is far too damaging to the ego. But strident self-righteousness doesn’t necessarily equate to truth, in this instance from neither the Hubber who’s caused you concern, nor the one who’s insulted me.

Without knowing the context from which the quote was taken from, I can not speak of it's " fairness". I do not see you offering any contridictions to it, tho! Are there any?

Have they advanced in literature, medicine, education, agriculture? DID they know how to draw and process the oil? Rather than verbally call the other poster out for humiliation, tell us the intelligent rebuttal........I will be waiting.

I believe this is a very biased and racist statement and very unfair to the Muslim population. We all have areas that we excell in and to put down another race in my opinion is just ignorance and hate.

If what is said is the "Truth" then it is fair.

No, it is likely not a fair statement but I defend their right to make it. I don't have to agree with the subject matter to believe in free speech and the freedom to have an unpopular opinion.

Rather than condemning this person, I think they need to hear the Facts about these oil-producing countries, some of which are technologically far ahead of the USA. It's a mistake not to correct the history so that they learn something.

It's not fair as far as I can tell. Just a thought: Wouldn't answering that first question make a great hub? Or a series of hubs.(500 years is a lot of material to cover.) Personally I would start with architecture; but, that's just me.

I mean in all honesty, this does not reflect my opinion on the religion or faith, but from a historic perspective I would say... he is correct. Camels don't run on oil, nor do the people really need oil for much. However, everyone is important.

Although saying that every single person in the middle east, which I assume they are referring to, is an off base statement. The ignorance is that they assume that Islam is the only religion oversees and in the world. When you say "Islamic world" you also include the Islamic people in the US and and around the world, not just the middle east, unless this person is talking about Mecca, which then they should have just said that.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
