It may very well be. You would not be the first to be contacted through HubPages for a writing opportunity somewhere. I didn't get it but your writing probably is more suitable for a magazine called Pillow Talk.

You can ask for more information. Are there any signs that are odd? If they are asking for your bank details right away, that's a sign to be suspicious.

If it is bogus then you should start the magazine yourself. I personally have never talked to a pillow but I'm sure there are people who have. Now, who would advertise?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
