I run on Windows Vista, and own an HP computer. My sound isn't working. Help?
It worked perfectly two days ago, but since yesterday, it hasn't. I didn't do anything different or whatnot. It has been bugging me non-stop.
I've tried going on HP's official site for suggestions, I did what it told me to do. Still didn't fix it. Then I went on Microsoft's website.
Did what it told me to do. Nothing. Could it be my sound card?
If not, how would I fix it so my sound is back? Asked by that80schick 28 months ago Similar questions: run Windows Vista HP computer sound working Help Computers > Software.

1 My sound is always going out. Even the keyboard has a "mute" switch. Check out the sound control pannel and the icon on the bottom right (if you haveone -"volume control."
This is a good place to start since you had sound. I expect mute is "on. " .

That80schick replied to post #1: 2 I've checked on the keyboard, and the monitor and it's not on mute. I was hoping that's all it was, lol, but it isn't unfortunately. I went to Control Panel, and then Sounds, and there's not much for me to do.
Like, I've done everything there was to do.

3 There is a way through the control pannel to troubleshoot devices. Try that. I can think of about six places the sound can be set to mute.
I usually find it on the sixth try.

4 There's one thing that confuses me - I have built-in speakers on my LCD monitor. When I go to Sounds in my Control Panel, it says it's not plugged in. Maybe I'm missing a Driver?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
