Similar questions: hard time finding questions answer ya'll problem.
Good' questions seem like the tide... ebb and flow. The tide comes in and there are a wealth of good questions (defined as the kind of questions I like to answer) and I answer some, take a answer slot in others (because you never know how long the wealth is going to last), and perhaps, if I am really organized try out the old point multiplier on a couple. I am so long-winded that I can only do two answers in the thirty minutes I have.
But, to continue the analogy, I am swimming in wonderful questions and many get by me. The next day, the tide is going out and all the questions are about specific gadget instructions or complaints to Amazon or inquiries about subjects I wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole. Then I search in vain.
I will even come back two or three times to look for anything. But I usually fail. That is when I ask questions, fulfill myself with discussions, or set about answering my banked questions from the day before. It is a cycle and an irregular one.
I am not sure what causes it. Sun spots, perhaps? But it is a fact of life on Askville and I have gotten used to it.
Somedays, yes! I'm scanning the lists this morning, and can hardly find anything new to answer! But over the weekend there were lots!
What's the deal Askville?! LOL! Yes, it does happen time to time, but in a day or so we will get overwhelmed with questions that we want to answer.
It goes in spurts like that, it seems. Not to worry--there will be more! I guess we it's a sign that maybe we should take a break and get other stuff done, right?
I usually try to think of a few questions when I have trouble finding anything I want to answer. What will LglSec ask next here in Askville? Will the King convert to a pink shell?
When will Questville open?! How much wood.....! .
I do have this problem from time to time but I manage to find some questions anyway! For some reason this weekend we had a lot of good question to answer! I am not sure why that happened but I could find a lot of questions that I was interested in answering.
That was probably the first time in a while that I could find a lot of good questions to answer. Usually I find questions to answer but if it is not a good day I should look for them more and may find them in old questions and sometimes in not that popular topics. From my experience if there are few good questions they get answered very fast.
Usually those questions are posted either in the morning Eastern Time or around 7-10 PM EST. If you don’t take them they are gone! In any case, sometimes I can’t find good questions.
There are some specific people who ask good questions. If they are gone there is less options! Sources: experience!Paradise.
T's Recommendations There are no stupid questions only inquisitive idiots Mug I guess there ARE stupid questions! :p .
Yes, even the King has that problem from time to time and now is one of those times. I haven’t been around much for the last few weeks because I haven’t been feeling particularly well but tonight I decided to drop by and answer a few questions. I figured that I ought to have a good backlog of questions to answer but that hasn’t been the case at all but thankfully I found your question so that I at least found one question that I wanted to answer.
Thanks for asking! .
1 Any more - I'm having that problem MOST of the time! It used to be I'd answer maybe 3 a day - now I've had a great week if I can answer 3 a week! Some of them I could answer, but they're so absurdly stupid (25 postings by the same person just to get coins - I refuse to answer those - and I'm sure you know who that person is this week), that its like, why waste my time?
And I've stopped answering ones where the person just wants a re-affirmation of their existing beliefs - usually because I disagree with them! And why bother, what is the gold good for anyway? .
