I agree with the other guy. Don't do it. I've cut my own hair successfully once or twice, but I'll still usually have a few things that would be better cut by a stylist.
If you go for it, set up a bunch of mirrors around yourself. Cut in the direction of ear to ear, and be careful. You can always cut more, but you can't go back.
You're a brave person! Lol I totally wouldn't be able to trust myself. However, my aunt is a hairdresser and she gave me these tips: 1.
Wet your hair! Shampoo, condition...the works! Make sure it's not tangled.2.
Scissors should be very sharp or else you're going to ruin your hair and the cut line won't be nice and clean. Cut little by litte because you don't want to realize you've cut too much too late! Yikes!3.
Comb your wet hair from scalp down, while holding that specific section between index and middle fingers. Measure and snip!4. When you're done, tug all sections to make sure the cuts are even!
:) For the scissor holding itself you cut away from the chest and section from ear to ear. I've included a good instructional video and link with photos on how to hold the scissors while cutting your hair. For me, it's easier to see it rather than read about the details and steps.
Two pony tails- One in the top half of your head and than separate the bottom into another pony tail. Cut ear from year holding the scissors at a downward level. Take out pony tail and access much more you want off the top, this gives you a guide to cut the top layer, follow the bottom levels as far as length.
DON'T DO IT! Go to a good hairstylist....it's worth the money.
If it will be 4 inches or shorter after the cut, you can use a Flowbee. amazon.com/Flowbee-Haircutting-System-Co... There are a couple of other similar systems that attach to your vacuum. I used to use this on my kids when they were younger. It worked really well.
Go layered, that way it won't be as obvious if it's crooked.
How to cut your own hair: Video with Lee Stafford. I was soooo not sure but it turn out perfect! Did my side bang as well!
My husband was very impress, he help me a bit cause my hair are so long and I did not have a good pair of scissor, but next time I'll be prepared! I just did this and I LOVE it! I may never grace a hairdressers shop again....well, except for coloring.
How to cut your own hair: Video with Lee Stafford I tried it worked fairly well. Although it came out very layered, which I didn't like. But it was pretty even and all my dry ends were gone.
Celebrity hairdresser Lee Stafford shows Cosmo's Nat how to do a DIY haircut at home! I've actually cut my own hair using this method, and it's pretty good if I'm honest. I just did this to my own hair, but I did it while it was wet!
Worked great, especially because I don't trust hairdressers with my hair anymore! I'll be doing this again! Celebrity hairdresser Lee Stafford shows Cosmo's Nat how to do a DIY haircut at home!
Done on both boo and i. DIY Hair Cut - this really works! No more paying for a cut at a salon!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
