I am currently managing a page at Mahalo, the page is named as "Best Entry Level Digital SLR". This page contains the top links of internet, targeting dslr cameras for beginners. There you will also find an article named as "DSLR Buying Tips for Beginners", written by me, which will help you to choose a good camera.
Also you will find a list of top six dslrs under $600 with important features and some good videos on each of them. I have composed this page mainly for people like you, who are beginners in photography and need some help to choose their first dslrs. So go there and have fun.
You can also ask me whatever help you need on this subject and I will do my best to help you. The link for the page is given below: mahalo.com/best-entry-level-digital-slr However my personal favorite is Nikon D40. Why?
Because it is the cheapest (around $400) camera on the list but superior in image quality. Also has a very good 18-55 mm lens with fast shutter speed (1/4000 sec) and it also has base ISO level as 200 -means it is more light sensitive than even some of the expensive cameras on the list of the good cameras. And most importantly it has a low pixel density on its sensor which makes it less noisy and more sharp.
Just go there and you can find a tons of information on the camera. If you find this page is helpful to you I will find myself successful. Bye...take care.

I don't know much about cameras, but a good camera for Photography is a Nikon. Nikon SLR....... I hope I'm saying it right. There are different styles and models that's why.
But I remember someone in my Photography class having a Nikon camera and boy oh boy.....those pictures came out SPECTACULAR!
The top two brand names are Canon and Nikon. Both are great cameras, for different things. In the end, it comes to a love and hate deal.Do you want it to feel sturdy and heavy, go with canon.
You want it lightweight and smooth, go with nikon. Do you want a made in japan sticker, go with canon. You want a made in taiwan sticker, go with nikon.
A good beginners camera would be either a Canon EOS Rebel XS or the Nikon D40. Now it all depends on how serious you are about photography, and how passionate you are. Because this is one hobby that will always grow, and you will always want better equipment.
Now if you are serious about it and are pursuing something you love it would be a better idea to shop around, save up more money, and get something better. Not necessarily meaning a $2,500 where it meets the semi-professional high end camera. , but something that will last longer, and can push it past a "beginners" camera limit.
You may also want to look at Canon 50D and the Nikon D90. Also look around at how much lenses cost, and other accessories you might need later on. Nikon is great for portraits, it generates great skin tones.
Canon on the other hand, is great for everything. It is faster then the nikon. In the end, its about the photographer, not the brand of camera he/she uses.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
