I want to increase my HSBC card's credit limit because I want to buy something on installment, can I do this?

If you have never used it before, you cannot increase the limit. You are offered an increase after 3-6 months of satisfactory use which includes paying your monthly account on time.

You can call a card company after 6 months worth of use to increase a limit. But, since you have not been using the card, they may not do this. All you can do is call them and ask.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
