I'm glad that you have tried to get help but, none of it is working. The only way this can change is if you change. You are in control of how you see yourself.
You are in control of what expectations you have of yourself. It sounds like your expectations were set too high. You wanted to be a professional skateboarder but, the chances are 1 in a 1,000,000.
So, it's really harsh of you to put yourself down for not becoming a professional. If skating is what you love to do then do it. Maybe you could open your own skate park or offer skating lessons to kids.
Helping people has made me feel better about myself. Volunteer at a shelter or help a friend out; it may make you feel better about yourself. If that's not your thing then there's a book I read, written by an atheist, his name is John Parkin.
The book is called 'Fu€k it'. I think you might like it. It's about this atheist who is suffering from anxiety and depression and his way out of it was to say **** it to everything.
It's a really good book and may help you. EDIT: 'sigh* nothing useful as always.' well damn! You don't appreciate anything.
All these people are trying their best to help you and you are being disrespectful and unappreciative! This is why you are so unhappy! You don't appreciate sh!t..
You should find a different therapist if you're unhappy with the one you have. Look for someone who's a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist; there are a lot of people out there who bill themselves as "counselors," etc. but don't really have much training. Community mental health centers are often a good place to start if you're not sure what you're looking for.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
