I want to start an organization on Askville for Avatars Against Violence to Fellow Avatars! Who's with me? There is an increasing amount of physical violence talk on the site from avatars threatening other avatars and it's GOT TO STOP!
I've seen ninja threats, swatting threats, boxing threats, shooting threats, kicking threats (yes, most of them were made to me but not always) caging threats... it's become an environment not safe to raise our kids in anymore! It's not safe to walk in anymore! Well it has to end, so I'm creating an organization!
The way there is a "Mothers Against Drunk Driving" (aka "MADD"), this organization needs a NAME. I'm looking for a name for the club, and if you'll join me, then what YOU would do OR what the club collectively could do to stamp out this increasing surge! Creativity counts.

I think this club should learn to teach Avatars how to protect themselves without have to resort to violence. Guns are not the answer! We must REACH OUT to this community.
We must SHOW them that VIOLENCE against Avatars is NOT the answer. I would like for us to do this by everyone reaching out to their neighbor, that's right, whoever is sitting right beside you. Reach out to that Avatar and hug it.
Hug that Avatar close. Hugs, not drugs or cages or bullets. Hugs are the only way!
Now turn to your other side and do it again. Hugs, people! Hugs!
Finally, I think we should all get together and sing the Askville anthem (to the tune of Jeopardy theme song): Askville, Askville we love you. All the questions you! You put us through.
Avatars all friendly Until the end for all to see. Everybody! Come on!
Sing about friendly avatars and love and hugs! Down with the violence! Down with the violence!.
What about calling your club APES (Avatar Persecution Enders Squad) Sorry if that's too corny Mr M, but I've been trying to find a name that goes along with your avatar and Planet of Apes was just too long.
1 I think smoking is violence. In fact, I think that second-hand smoke is a serious threat to all avatars on askville.

2 EmpressPixie, regarding your answer "HEALP! ":I like your idea! Now give me a hug!
EVERYBODY give me a hug! Then a group hug! And as for providing protection for everyone, well, I wasn't thinking along those lines but, HEY!
That's good too! .

Let's start taking Askville predictions! " "When does the Askville week start? " "What's with the gray looking, suspended avatars I've been seeing on Askville?" "Where does everyone here at Askville find those animated avatars?
=)" "why Amazon start askville? " "How much would you like to start an Askville holiday?" "How much importance do people's avatars play in your likeability of a person here in ASKVILLE? " "Does anyone else think it would be nice if Askville could make the 'avatars' on your My Friends list 'rotate' maybe" "What are Amazon's, Askville's and Askville members' liabilities when we members act on the advice of fellow Askvillers?
" "Why do so many people on askville not have avatars?
Does anyone else think it would be nice if Askville could make the 'avatars' on your My Friends list 'rotate' maybe.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
