The American government figures that it can do whatever it wants, crap in people's back yard, and then make demands. Personally, I don't see why we should care what Pakistan thinks...except that they happen to have nukes and are dumb enough to use them. Pakistani intelligence officials directly financed the 9/11 attacks and Bin Laden was living in a compound with retired Pakistani military officials; so I can see why we didn't feel that need to let them know about our little clandestine operation.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
