I worked for a 501c3 public law firm and they did not withhold any federal tax from my paycheck. Now what? I filled out a W-4 appropriately.

Get a schedule C You still need to declare it. Get a schedule C and show what they paid you. It will have you do a bunch of calculations, including Medicare tax and Social Security tax, to make up for the amounts that the 501-c-3 group didn't take out. It's going to hurt.
So you'll send up paying medicare, and social security, and then regular old income tax. Next year ask them to do the withholdings correctly, or you'll get hit again..
1 It depends on the terms of your employment. If you are a full-time employee they need to do withholding and pay a lot of other things as well. If you are a contract employee, they are not responsible for those things.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
