That someone was doing it, I would probably say a few really random outlandish things or something. That's what I do when I can tell people are listening in too. ;).
Relache...the reason I asked the question is because I was sitting at a coffee house on my laptop and there were several deaf people sitting nearby...as I was mouthing words to myself with regard to a topic I was working on...i noticed a couple of the deaf people watching my lips intently...coincidentally when I would make direct eye contact with them..they would drop their eyes and turn away...some of them red faced as if they knew they were "lip-dropping"...it kind of tickled me...I remember sitting back in my chair and thinking...OMG they've been "lip-dropping" me the whole time....LOL.....so I posted the question. I didn't do anything or say anything to them I was just interested in what other people might say or do. I imagine I would have been offended but given the nature of their "disability" I wondered what kind of things they "hear" on a daily basis.
I even considered trying to get one of them to write a book about it. "Deaf-Muse".....LOL....
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
