If a U.S. Naval Officer fails Navy SEAL training, can he attend training to become a Naval Aviator?

If you are asking, "can I become a Navy SEAL (SO Rating), then later on, crossrate to Intelligence specialist - IS Rating?" If that is the case, the chance of that happening is extremely slim to none; not even after serving your first contract as a SEAL first, then try to re-enlist and crossrate to IS. The Navy is not in a habit of spending money & time to train a person to do one thing, then spend even more money & time to train that same person to do something else.

It would be cheaper for the Navy to train a brand new sailor and have him gain the relevant job experience from the bottom (you may be at least an E-5 by the time your first contract ends. The Navy does not want to pay you as an E-5, even though, you may have a relevant IS experience of an E-1 to E-3). If you want detail, you are going to have to go talk to the CCC or NC.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
