It's pretty unsettling to think that Republicans are so easily influenced, but what else can we think when they just keep repeating the crap they hear of Fox. Even when you try to explain that Bush ordered the first bailout, and that the economy was rapidly sliding into an abyss, long before President Obama began campaigning! It's easier for them, I guess, to believe Beck, O'Reilly, Hannity, Limbaugh and others than to figure things out for themselves.
They fail to realize the long term effect of their policies because they only care about all the money they can get now. The policies they put into effect while they were in office were like ticking bombs that went off under the democrats so they could blame them. The problem is everybody wants the quick fix and that's not really an option.
You can't fix the mess from the republicans in two years. It took them over 6 to cause it.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
