That would take all of the fun out of thinking that you were right and the other guy is wrong. How can you feel morally superior if you can't point out how the other guy is morally bankrupt?
Very true, we should respect everyone's beliefs. But that doesn't mean that a person's beliefs are right. Those who know they have the best way of living obviously want to share that truth with others.
Just like, if one found a cure for cancer (or any other disease), if they were a loving person who was concerned for others, they wouldn't keep that truth as a secret to themselves. Instead they would want to tell others. This is what people do when they know they found the "truth" in the bible and wish to tell/teach others the "good news" that is found to cure people of sicknesses and death.
True, we can't convert anyone. That is up to the sole individual who has received the "good news" as to what they want to do with it. Just like a person who is told what the cure is for cancer and chooses to do nothing with it.
They can either apply the solution or choose to reject it and do nothing. The bible admonishes those who do teach others about the "good news" to do so out of respect, with a mild-manner and tactfulness. As Jehovah’s servants, we should defend what we believe because it is solidly based on God’s Word.
But we need to do this in a way that shows respect for others and for their sincerely held beliefs. Paul wrote: “Let your utterance be always with graciousness, seasoned with salt, so as to know how you ought to give an answer to each one.”—Colossians 4:6.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
