Of course they dumb things down! They have Glenn Beck, whose IQ is lower than room temperature, write on a chalk board and give delusive accounts on how government works. Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity haven't graduated from any university.

MSNBC is where it's all at. Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, and Lawrence O'Donnell all three went to Ivy League schools and are more coherent and sophisticated.

You are assuming that complexity cannot be explained without dumbing it down for the masses. Why spend 25 minutes talking about something when you can make that point in less than a minute? What Fox news is trying to do is talk about all the nonsense that our politicians are doing and cover it all in less than 30 minutes.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
