If GOP said Jobs are #1, why are they going after Privatizing Medicare and Social Security?

Get the government out of all aspects of Medicare except focused and intense heavy handed Medicare fraud investigation. Give them the power to put entire doctors associations, clinics, and hospitals out of business for committing fraud. We will see surpluses in no time - government jack boot on the throats of criminals - private sector setting prices, service levels, and multiple levels of care policies.

No. The program is so screwed up, no one can make it work. The main problem is that the people using Medicare don't pay for most of it.

Everyone who works is paying a Medicare tax, but they don't get to use it. Medicare should be phased out. Seniors would then have to buy insurance in the private sector.

Premiums would go up dramatically for all seniors. But they should pay for what they are getting. I am a senior who benefits from Medicare.

But it is socialism, and socialism always fails.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
